Geography

Few countries in the world could match what India has to offer. In a country that is the world’s largest democracy supporting the second largest population on earth within it’s confines of 3,287,263 square kilometres, the cultural, biological and topographic diversities are enormous.

Holiday extensions from Nepal to India are very convenient. New Delhi, the hub of most popular Indian itineraries is but a matter of an hour and ten minutes flight from Kathmandu, and Varanasi another popular site lies at an even shorter distance. Both the cities are linked with frequent shuttle flights. The other Indian cities with direct flight connection to Kathmandu include Bangalore, Bombay, Calcutta and Patna.

Another popular region, i.e. Sikkim-Darjeeling is also easily accessed from Kathmandu. A direct domestic flight of one hour takes visitors to the eastern border town of Bhadrapur from where a surface transfer ranging between 4 and 5 hours will reach you to Darjeeling and Gangtok respectively.

Our India affiliates are operators catering to exclusive clientele and as such we can assure you of quality services. Furthermore, for groups and group series tours, Golden Tours shall personally escort all extensions into India.
