Rafting in Nepal

Introduction

Trishuli River 1 to 3 days
Only a few hours away from Kathmandu and accessible from both the capital and Pokhara, Trishuli has become the most popular river running course. Graded at class 2-3, it is safe for beginners offering bouncy rapids and a pleasant cruise with beautiful scenery.

Lower Karnali 5 to 7 days
Due to its remote location, one needs to trek to get to the river. So, if you are looking to combine a short trek with rafting, this is an ideal option. With a grade 4 to 5 rapid, you are in for gushing waters that flow through magnificent mountains and interesting vegetation.

Tamur 6 days
With altogether one hundred and thirty rapids, this river holds one of the most impressive rafting routes. It is also the sixth largest in Nepal and has been called one of the best in the world. Graded 4-5, Tamur lives beyond the \”wild\” experience.

Sun Koshi 10 days
Uncharacteristic of the Himalayan waters, Sun Koshi fells relatively warm as the gushing waters take you on a grade 4 to 5 rapid. They say that a trip down the Sun Koshi is probably Nepal\’s rafting equivalent of the Everest Trek. The rapids are incomparable as the water adventure continues.

Arun 3 days 
Respected and highly appreciated, Arun is a grade 4 river and presents impressive rapids that challenges the spirit. Cutting through the Himalayan gorges, the powerful rush and white water volume also has the potential to get elaborately exiting.

Upper Kali Gandaki 5 days
In a perfect way to end the famous Annapurna Circuit trek, this river awaits your arrival. Passing through unspoiled terrain where plenty of wildlife is at avail, the course expresses both the rafting enthusiast and a keen nature observer in you.
