Daman

Chitwan

Pokhara
The magnificent central Nepal valley of Pokhara lies nestled beneath the splendid Annapurna range, home to some of the most beautiful mountain peaks of Nepal. Situated some 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu, the town of Pokhara is the second most popular destination in Nepal. Stretched out on one side is the serene Phewa Lake, while to the north lies the captivating 140-kilometre Himalayan panorama, which includes the famed Machhapuchhare (Fish Tail).

 

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu. Meet at the airport & transfer to hotel.
Aside from time spent on briefing, rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu/Daman
Early morning departure from Kathmandu in support vehicle for 2 hours till Tistung. Arrive & saddle up. 28 km. off-road in the Palung Valley till Kulekhani Lake. After lunch, ride 12 km. uphill to the Everest Panorama Resort for dinner & overnight.
Biking Distance, 40 km. Ascent m.
Day 03: Daman/Hetauda
After breakfast, a short hikes to a nearby monastery. After lunch, saddle up for a downhill ride to the Terai. Dinner & overnight at Motel Avocado.
Distance, 65 km. decent 1,500 m.
Day 04: Hetauda/Chitwan
After breakfast, a 30-km. transfer in support vehicle. Saddle up for a mostly dirt trail unto Sauraha village and then on to Island Jungle Resort. Packed lunch enroute. Switch to support vehicle when everyone has cycled enough. Evening elephant ride dinner & overnight at IJR.
Biking Distance, minimum 40 km (till Sauraha), + 20 km (till Narayanghat), + 35 (till Island Jungle Resort. No significant altitude change.
Day 05: Chitwan
The whole day at IJR on full board with jungle activities. Elephant safari, boat ride, nature walk. No biking as per national park regulations.
Day 06: Chitwan/Tansen
After breakfast, check out from IJR. Saddle up for a 60-km ride along the Western Terai. Packed lunch enroute. Switch to support vehicle for the last 40 to 50 km for the ascent to Tansen. Dinner & overnight at Hotel Sreenagar, Tansen.
Day 07: Tansen/Pokhara
After breakfast, a 2-hour trek to Ranighat before making the journey to Pokhara. First 2 hours on support vehicle, thereafter saddle up for ride to Pokhara. Packed lunch enroute. Arrive, & check in at Lake View Resort.
